Clogged arteries result from the build-up of a substance called plaque in the arterial walls. It is also medically referred to as arterial plaque. This plaque can reduce blood flow or even block it altogether.
Clogged arteries increase your risk of developing other health complications like a heart attack or stroke.
Some of the most common risk factors for clogged arteries are:
High levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) or low levels of HDL (good cholesterol)
A high blood pressure
Smoking tobacco
Diabetes or elevated blood sugar levels
A family history of atherosclerosis or clogged arteries
A sedentary lifestyle

Most cases of clogged arteries do not exhibit any symptoms until a heart attack or blood clot presents itself. However, in cases where 70% or more of the arteries are blocked, you will notice the following symptoms.
Severe cases of clogged arteries may exhibit symptoms like:
Shortness of breath
Chest pain or angina
Palpitations of the heart

      Nonsense, he doesn’t know that there is no such thing as good or bad cholesterol-both LDL and HDL cholesterol are important to body function. I would go so far as to say he is a quack, he churns out a new wonder cure for this, that and the other daily.

    • ouch says:

      @evanleebodies No, I think you have nonsense. No one knows everything, if they claim to do so then it’s a lie. As science evolves we all learn new things every day and what works today may not work tomorrow. Do you know everything? No, I don’t think so. Stop criticizing people who are helping millions of people worldwide and stop with your negativity criticism.

    • Maria Perez says:

      @Michelangelo The regular doctors can’t prescribe natural cures.

    • personality cat says:

      @Michelangelo Totally, not to mention their in ca-hoots with the pharmaceutical industry! By the way isn’t finding the super duper concoction’s what the doctor’s and pharmaceutical corporation doing but with hazardous chemicals some derived from oil that are full of side effects killing more than they help?

    • Craazed Lemming says:

      @Michelangelo um… yeah… a lot of the traditional doctors ARE stupid. They are told what prescriptions to push to treat “symptoms ” instead of the underlying problem. If you give the body what it needs NATURALLY it’ll fix itself. I use high doses of vitamin C (30g-50g) when I start to feel something coming on and I don’t get sick. My doctor wanted to give me thyroid medication cuz mine wasn’t working properly. They want you to take chemicals for the symptoms instead of giving the nutrients it needs to RUN PROPERLY. I took 20mg of iodine a day, that I made myself, and selenium and it fixed my thyroid problem. They were dumbfounded. So yes, EVERYTHING that isn’t an actual physical problem can be fixed NATURALLY by giving the body what it needs and removing all the chemicals they push down your throats in medication and processed foods.

    1:10 2:30 3:26 recipe 7 mins
    6 lemons 🍋
    30 cloves of garlic (3 bulbs)
    Put lemons and garlic in a food processor or blender after peeling them properly. Add a little bit of water and add sweetener like honey or stevia. Add this mixture to a big pot and take 1 gallon of water and add it to the pot. Let it simmer for 7 minutes. Dont let it fully boil. After that, strain the mixture and cool it for an hour. Now you can store it in glass. No plastic glass.

    Give this to them for everyday for 3 weeks on an empty stomach. She has to drink anywhere between 8-12 ounces. She can drink it cold or warm. After that don’t drink for about a week to give the body rest. Then repeat again for 3 weeks.

    I like the way much of this is explained, syllable by syllable with distinct pauses. This allows more seniors, viewers whose language of origin is not English and those who may be Deaf or hearing impaired as they may lip read. The linguistic cadence is also helpful for not taking. Thanks, Doc.

  • ol' blu says:

    My great-granma drank lemon, garlic with honey water mixed almost every morning after breakfast and she lived a heathy 104 yrs. Her daughter, my grandma didn’t like garlic , but she still took it every 3rd day and she lived a very healthy 96 yrs. Both were very active up until their passing on. So yeah this Dr. is on to something that worked great for my granmas. Thanks Dr. Mandell.

    • Just me. says:

      Well, I had heard that passing on does slow ya’ down regardless of diet.

    • ol' blu says:

      @Just me. Yes it does, but nobody wants to pass on young and sick for many years. It’s one thing to pass on having lived a healthy happy long life than to pass on old but being sick , feeling miserable alot in ones life.

    • Darkfarfetch says:

      My grandma hasn’t drank this in her 96 years and still kicking

    • G says:

      Warm water with garlic or cold? Crushed cloves or whole? I’m a garlic lover.

    • ol' blu says:

      @G one morning l decided to watch my great granma prepare her drink in the morning:
      She would heat up well water in small pan until it boiled , she then place pan on table. Next she took a tooth of garlic she crushed it with the guacamole grinding stone and let it sit on a piece of wooden cutting board.
      Next she poured a tablespoon of raw organic honey into the still hot water in pan and stir.
      Next she took a half lemon (from her own tree) and squeezed into still hot water in pan and again stirred.
      Next after letting crushed garlic sit for about 20 minutes, she would put it all into the pan which had the somewhat hot water with the honey and lemon. She would stir the mix for 30 seconds and let it sit until it was luke warm.
      Next she sipped on that mix until finished. I never saw her drink it all at one sitting.
      She asked me once if l wanted a drink but l was too young and said no. But l wish l started on that when l was a teenager, very healthy mix.
      I never watched my grandma prepare her drink but l think she did it the same way, except she added either cinnamon or mint caused it smelled alot better.

  • Anna Jacob says:

    Thank you, Dr. Mandell! I made my first batch of your concoction today. I hope it helps lowers my cholesterol, as you suggest. I have relaunched my exercise routine and cleaned up my diet as well. Not quite Keto, but getting there. Please, does anyone know if we can make use of the strained remnants of blended garlic and lemon pulp? Is it safe to mix this with eggs, soups, etc? Seems a shame to just throw it all away! Thanks.

    • Kathy Knepp says:

      Maybe drizzle some on your salad

    • Anna Jacob says:

      @kathyknepp9883  Good idea, thanks! I wonder how long the blended pulp remnants last in refeigrator? I know it’s usually a matter of scent & smell to detect freshness. But this isn’t 100%. Especially if you don’t trust your sense of smell.

    • Kathy Knepp says:

      @Anna Jacob my guess would be about the same time as the drink mixture

    • Robert Neumann says:

      Agree, just asked same question, a waste to throw away it would seem, but if can be used, need to know the safe way to use and store.

  • Jerrybiker says:

    Very good advice. Even if a person has not occurred any symptoms I’m sure it will be a great way to help keep you healthy. Remember the first part of the video, exercise. Find an activity you enjoy and start doing it on a regular basis with your friends. May long life satisfy you.

  • nonamegirj says:

    It is so good to have someone offer you life saving advice without trying to sell you a book or some expensive gummies or pills. Thank you doctor. You seem very sincere. I will definitely try this

  • loreta dino says:

    Hello! I preved your advice and I’ve been doing this for one week .It’s a amazing advice. Thank you Doctor .

  • J. Sometimeslyrical says:

    Be sure to use a straw for drinking this so that you protect the enamel on your teeth from repeated full contact with the acidic profile of the drink.

    You also might wait to add your sweetener each day to your glass rather than taking a chance of putting too much or too little sweetener in the whole batch, and having to deal with fixing that.

    RE: Concerns some have expressed about simmering away the Vitamin C in this mixture:

    I believe the citric acid may be the key component of the lemon that is contributing to the effectiveness of the drink. You may still be receiving a fair amount of the Vitamin C and the phytonutrients because you are not pasteurizing the mixture (as you are simmering it, not having it boil).

    It might be better to make a half-batch, though, so there are fewer days the mixture is being stored in the refrigerator. So use three peeled lemons, 15 peeled garlic cloves, a little moistening with water to process more smoothly, then two quarts water in the pot to simmer. Cool, then strain and transfer to your glass jars.

    Doing a half-batch at a time to store might preserve more of the Vitamin C since what you make of the drink will be used up in half the time. Then just make another half-batch. Not certain, but the Vitamin C remaining in the last-used jars of a gallon-sized batch might not remain at the same level as that in the first couple jars.

    Another thing, you can always squeeze some fresh lemon into your glass each day before you drink it if you want to give it more Vitamin C.

    • Andy Charbonneau says:

      Good points . . . I want to know do you think the garlic / lemon pulp should be strained ??? I hate to waste possible benefits of the pulp.

    • J. Sometimeslyrical says:

      @Andy Charbonneau Maybe try putting the pulp (minus any seeds) in the food processor, pulse it, then mix it in with salad. Waste not, want not.😊

    • MataH says:

      Great thanks. Why do you think it needs to be cooked? Garlic puree might be quite strong of course but with olive oil it should be ok, for instance as a dip, shouldn’t it?

  • Frank Scales says:

    Doing this for just one week now, feeling great ,blood suger down , not bad for a 76 year old

  • Advance to Tabletop says:

    Savory salad dressing, also for marinades and to add to chicken broth:
    * 1/3 Olive Oil
    * 1/3 Apple Cider Vinegar
    * 1/3 Lemon Juice
    * Garlic
    * Cayenne pepper
    * Tumeric and black pepper
    * Paprika

  • Frankie says:

    I just squeeze a fresh lemon with some crushed garlic into water first thing in the morning 💃 No need to complicate with blenders and storage. Having 3 lemon trees in the garden ensures a constant supply. Over the years I’ve added cayenne pepper, turmeric, ginger and moringa leaf powders to the mix. Do what works for you and makes you feel great 😍

  • Mareil Peralta says:

    I am drinking this for almost a week already and it’s so evident, I’m taking 2 medications and I decided to take only 1 pill with this juice and also eat from 9-5/6pm. My blood pressure now is 120 below. Before it reaches up to 150, been taking 2 pills for 3 months and every morning before I take the pill it’s still so high. My body is starting to rely on taking medicines. But when I started to follow this concoction juice it helped lower my bp. Now I’m about to get rid of the pills and observe my bp for its 2nd week while taking this lemon+garlic juice. Thank you doctor. Thanks God! 🙌🏼
