The real problem is trying to find pharmaceutical grade placebo. But seriously, I’m dropping my unsupported use of vegan G&C&MSM supplementation. Right after I finish this 2-pack.

OK folks, here’s the best question: what is better than the placebo?

  • @denisej.9936 says:

Thank you! I really appreciate all your videos and books. Would it be possible to adjust your volume settings when you make future videos? I watch lots of YouTube videos and yours is the only one I consistently have to max out the volume and strain to hear over household noises. Thank you!

When I stop taking my chondroitine + glucosamine + MSM + Vit C stack, my neck ache is getting much worse and it’s repeatable.

  • @pops45 says:

Thank you Dr Greger! Fan since 2009.

  • @dianeladico1769 says:

To me, this just illustrates the advantages of being WFPB. The saying goes ‘when you find yourself in a hole the first thing to do is stop digging’. It makes little sense to take supplements, particularly dubious/sketchy ones when you’re doing things that are making the problem worse. Stop eating food that harms, start eating food that is neutral or helps. Get adequate rest. Exercise as you’re able. Then see how you feel. Do your research and see what else can help. You’ll make no progress on a fire when you’ve got a hose in one hand and a gas can in the other.
But people want to take a pill.

  • @trevorregay9283 says:

WAIT! WHAT? Soooooo…….I need to know what was in that placebo pill here!!! If it was sugar, what kind of sugar???? and maybe they should run.a trial with this placebo against another placebo and see what happens!!!

  • @SAOSIN987 says:

what about the longevity studies showing good results with glucosamine

  • @StephenMarkTurner says:

Thanks. I’ll leave that on the shelf, beside the collagen.

  • @JustJamey says:

I ❤ yelling out the end of Dr. Greger’s sentences. “-than the placebo!”😂🤓🧐😊
    YouTube vegan health jeopardy anyone?!🎉

  • @DrNatureclinic says:

    just great

  • @solarcrystal5494 says:

you are easy to accuse studies with corporate funding to have conflicts of interest, yet you don’t realize that orthopedic surgeons, etc, would lose lots of money if people stopped getting osteoarthritis as often because they took these supplements which the surgeons say won’t work.

  • @NewbirthHannah05 says:

    Dr. McDougall , you’ll be missed 😢

  • @johnely5050 says:

I have been taking chondroitin glucosamine for twenty years now and have found it very beneficial.
