I need help quitting smoking. I chain smoke and I know it’s because of my mental health. I was going to a psychologist but they knocked my time down from 60 minutes to 30 minutes so I just stopped going. I can’t get help with just 30 minutes session. I am disabled because my sister and her son assaulted me a year and a half ago and broke my back. I’ve already had three major surgeries because of scoliosis and they can’t do any more surgeries because of scar tissue.
So I sit in one spot all day unless I have a scheduled appointment to go somewhere because I’m in pain so bad.
I sit here and play on my phone and smoke cigarettes all day, that’s it. That’s my life.
I tried Chantix, quit for 3 months, but the weight started flooding on. Took it again, made me severly depressed.
I keep saying I want to quit, but haven’t found the will power to do it

Blessed are the weak for they will inherit the world.

You may not look impressive when you walk, but these are things your Heavenly Father does NOT care about

remember Julian, you are fearfully and wonderfully made

    • emaNyM says:

@Bray C Blessed are the MEEK. Meek does not mean weak. With respect, I’m not sure which translation you’re using, but it’s wrong and not at all what Christ said.

The word “meek” means _gentle, the positive moral quality of dealing with people in a kind manner, with humility and consideration._ Nothing to do with weakness.

  • Theresa Marie says:

What was that 70% success rate program / drug?

  • mary c hendricks says:

I am going to keep you in my thoughts and prayers Julian to keep on trying don’t give up on yourself! I believe you can do it ! I quit cold turkey ten years ago just like that ? I just decided I wanted to quit and I did it and it wasn’t so difficult? I just made up my mind I don’t want to continue smoking anymore and I stopped! That was it so try cold Turkey and remember it’s for your health and you’re worth it so try again. I’m going to keep you in my prayers daily so know Mary Claire that’s my fist name is rooting you on and thinking and praying for your success in quitting! Let me know how you’re doing from time to time ! Good luck my friend! Have a great day! I’m also disabled and sit around a lot in my home watching tv and on my phone so trust me I know how lonely you get to feeling. But I know if you stop smoking I believe your health and life will get somewhat better because mine did with all of my illnesses incurable diseases like MS and Hashimoto thyroiditis and lupus so I am sure quitting cigarettes was the best choice I’ve made. Lots of love to you always ❤❤❤🫶✌️💫😇🙏🙏🙏💞👍
