    I had severe insulin resistance, elevated insulin levels and metabolic syndrome 3 years ago, when I weighed 235 lbs in my cardiologist’s office.
    On 6/2022, I decided to go on the healthy Ketogenic lifestyle and one-meal-a-day intermittent fasting. For the past two years, I have been eating a very low-carb diet, high healthy fats, 0 grains, and eating only once a day, at 3 pm, and fasting for 23 hours– I just had water and black coffee ☕️, no sugar during my fast. I occasionally put 1 tablespoon of MCT oil or organic, grass-fed ghee in my black coffee. I also stopped my dietary sugar, fructose and high fructose corn syrup intake entirely down to 0.
    Now, two years later, I weigh 140 lbs, and reversed my insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome completely. My fasting insulin level dropped down to a low normal of 4.2—I feel great and very energetic.
