Dr. Berg what is the best calcium supplement to take and what foods have the best calcium intake? There are so many supplements out there to choose from… gets confusing trying to figure it out.

    • @Jhonatye says:

chia seeds have some good calcium, but sardines are slightly higher too.

    • @Wellness_Rose says:

@@Jhonatye Bovine bone marrow in a capsule is ideal. Ancestral Supplements or Heart & Soil are good brands. Seeds are meant for birds.

    • @bgezal says:

Calcium deficiency is very rare. You should be fine eating kefir or goat cheese, as promoted by dr Berg.

    • @rosethorn0232 says:

I would not take a calcium supplement as it’s usually the sort of thing your doctor would need to monitor (like iron). Your body regulates calcium levels very very carefully, and supplements can lead to calcium deposits in your arteries.

Get calcium from food, it’s perfectly safe that way and you really can’t overdo it. Milk is an obvious choice.

    • @kato6125 says:

Dairy milk is an absolutely terrible source of calcium. I have been using Calcium/ Magnesium liquid supplement from brand Flora. Most US Residents are magnesium deficient. So I believe it was Dr Berg’s suggestion to try the one I’m using. I’m thrilled as I’ve never been able to tolerate or stomach magnesium supplements before. This formula is natural and easy to digest. I have only been on it for about a month. So far I am convinced it’s helping.
