The Most Powerful SEED on the Planet: Overcoming Serious Health Issues! Dr. Mandell

Some call it one of the most powerful plant foods on the planet. Flaxseed has the highest amount of plant-based omega-3. It helps to reduce your risk of heart disease, clogged arteries, cancer, stroke, diabetes, as well as many other conditions. That’s quite a tall order for a tiny seed that’s been around for centuries.

While there are no specific recommendations for flaxseed intake, 1-2 tablespoons a day is considered a healthy amount. One tablespoon of ground flaxseed contains 37 calories, 2 grams of polyunsaturated fat (includes the omega-3 fatty acids), 0.5 gram of monounsaturated fat and 2 grams of dietary fiber.

Cadmium accumulates in the body due to its long biological half-life in humans of 10 to 35 years. ConsumerLab has learned that many companies do not test their flaxseed products or raw material for cadmium or other heavy metals, such as lead, despite the fact that cadmium contamination of flaxseed is a known issue.

Flaxseed oil capsules are really good in helping with menopausal night sweats. I use ground flaxseed in my smooth or I drink a tsp with Chiaseed, cinnamon, tumeric, pinch black pepper and a tsp of apple cider vinegar in a little warm water with honey. Thanks for your video!

You have helped me so much since my heart attack and with my fight with lupus. You gave me hope. You also helped me with my depression. I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children and I feel so alone. But with your help Doctor I’m feeling better ever day I’m regaining my strength! Thank you. I’m a better mom because of you and God!
