I desperately need help with my gut health. I have chronic heartburn and acid reflux. It doesn’t matter what I eat or when I eat. I will have heartburn all day long. I’ve been making my own sauerkraut and yogurt (when I can find goat’s milk or Jursey cow milk, I will start using that to make my yogurt).
I will continue expanding my ferments to get better results.
But I know I need more. What else can I do? Also, how can flaxseed benefit me/ my gut? (I grind it to a powder) I also am using olive oil. I’m learning to find good quality oils. When I can, I will take advantage of the olive oil you offer. I just don’t have that much disposable income. I’m working on it. I’m 64 and am in the process of getting an SSI disability. Thanks for your help😊
I drink it with 🫚 ginger everyday. ☺️🙏🏼
Tomatoes, Dr. Gundry? Tomatoes have lectins, as you said 🤔
Lectins can be removed from tomatoes by peeling and de-seeding them. If you’re interested in learning how to do this, I recommend watching this informative video: https://youtu.be/TphvQsxldkQ
Potatoes were mentioned too and my understanding is they do have lectins too, right? Any way to get rid of the lectins in non-sweat potatoes?
Hi there, sweet potato chips are compliant provided they’re prepared in a compliant oil (avocado oil or olive oil). You can also make them yourself. Just remember to eat resistant starches in moderation–– thank you!
