I started at that age also, I drink coffee all day no headaches and I’m not addicted to it. Also coffee makes you think better when you are stuck in a math problem or so just take a sip of coffee and you will find how to solve the problem.

    • Amelia Nolan says:

Both of my parents drank coffee but I noticed they drank only for breakfast . They always emphasized to us in moderation in everything. They both lived up to their 95 ish .

    • TundraTea says:

Moderation truly is a good thing!

    • Doctor Doom says:

There are older people who drink more than 4 cups of coffee a day, all day long that have lived past 95 where moderation was not a factor

I like your lectures because you state all the facts and you do not beat around the bush. you tell the good and the side effects of everything you present on YouTube. You are an excellent doctor.

  • SCAJR Aik says:

Doc, you hit it right on the head. It’s the addition of other things to food that cause numerous health issues
for humanity. Consuming foods in the natural state is the best choice.

  • Gretchen Morris says:

I have a friend who turned 100 earlier this year. All of her adult life she drank a pot of coffee a day. Her mind is strong and her physical body is okay…

  • Elaine Goad says:

My sister died last year from Parkinson’s. She always ate healthy, exercised and wasn’t overweight but lived 40 years near the apple orchards that were sprayed with pesticides. I believe these pesticides in the air and landing also in neighborhood yards and floating in widows etc… is one of the the causes of people getting Parkinson’s . cancers, etc… I appreciate your videos because western medicine seems so out of step with what’s really going on for people to have healthy lives. It seems we are treated with “medicines” (poisons) that give us additional health issues.

  • Raymond Parsley says:

Thank you Dr Mandell. I’m a avid instant coffee drinker, too much caffeine gives me the jitters and causes dehydration. I use coffee-mate creamer but no sugar or sweeteners. Your good advice for cutting back… to two to four cups a day, is advice I’ll try to follow. Also, thank you for making us aware of the many health benefits that comes with our daily coffee intake.

  • PhillyGirl2010 says:

This was very informative. I’ve been a coffee drinker (as my husband) for a long time. The caffeine does tend to keep me up at bedtime, so I don’t have any after 6:00-7:00 pm. As far a preventing diabetes.. my mother in law had type 2 and she was also a regular coffee drinker. She also developed dementia in her later 70’s. So, I don’t think the coffee helped her very much in that regard. 😉 Coffee goes through a process after being picked. I buy organic coffee & teas mostly. 😊👍🏻

  • John Burrows says:

    I never drank coffee until
I went in the army. Then like a fiend all my life. About 5 years ago I had salmonella poisoning and for 7-8 days drank no coffee, only mild tea. I haven’t drank coffee since, and honestly I feel 100% better overall. And the other thing for men, my prostate problem went away. I loved my coffee. I still do and crave it. But I feel way better without it

  • Farid Nadjafi says:

Thank you, Dr Mandell, for time you spent to give us people the good information.

  • Phyllis Adkins says:

I have drink coffee for about 55 or 56 years. I am almost 64. Haven’t been to the doctor in 30 years. Thank you Jesus.

  • Cathy Lehman says:

Drinking coffee first thing in the morning is a “ritual” to start a great day— mentally emotionally and physically. I set my alarm 30 min early so I can have my first cup while still in bed — slowly cradle the cup and smell it while it cools down, the cup feels good in my hand with the warmth, then I slowly enjoy each sip. After the cup, I start my day. I live like a queen😂

  • Marusca Tarabella says:

I am too sensitive to caffeine.
I drink mostly green tea’ and dandelion coffee, but being Italian
(I live in England) I crave for coffee sometimes, just made myself one brew this morning. Thank you for all the informations you are giving us. ❤

  • FAB-Infotech Solutions says:

I stopped drinking 2 cups of black coffee in the morning and went through very bad withdrawals like a drug addict. After 5 days all of my digestion problems were gone and my own hormonal system is now a lot more balanced without needing any external stimulant! I feel a lot stronger as well due to not losing all the vitamins flushed out from food because of coffee. No more head aches in the morning and everything is very clear and tranquil! All the benefits of coffee are bogus and one can get it from a lot better non stimulant drug food. The whole coffee advertisements is once again of mega corporations making silly amounts of money from this “commodity” ! Cocaine also boosts you up by affecting the endorphins and make you feel good for a short while but then crashes the whole body hormonal system in a similar way!

  • Deborahlee Talo says:

You care & want to help us all to overcome all our addictive habits, thnk u very much as we tend to drink coffee as it boosts us which causes more harm so we should dŕink in moderation.🎉😮🎉

    • VVV Vlines says:

Thank you for all your contributions. If I may…..perhaps caffeine is caffeine, irrespective, I do not know.. . My experience , moderation with QUALITY CULTIVATED COFFEE. Certain brands are impacting individuals’ health differently. I believe the content plays a roll. Saying that, some brands have a lot of crap added, leading to one having other complications. I made full change, brand and moderation. My BP stays healthy as well. My Bp, generics. Enjoy yourself through moderation.

    • VVV Vlines says:

What would be the input by a lot of milky coffee? The substances interjected in milk,on a hormonal level, how good is that for us?

    • Shakuntla Lall says:

      Km
