@Susie Hall Dr Mandell said that if you peel then freeze a banana (or two) and sprinkle some cinnamon on it you will sleep like a baby, well I tried it, atb honest I was sceptical and thought it wouldn’t work for me.
However I had the best sleep I had in ages.
If I remember correctly the cinnamon has a calming effect due to serotonin content, which converts to melatonin (which is referred to as the sleep hormone) and the banana has tryptophan which the body uses to make melatonin and serotonin also it calms down your digestive system, so you don’t get disturbed through the night, that is all I can remember about it for now but I would definitely give it a go if I were you 🤔👍
@Tim Guinn ok maybe it’s my lack of sleep, but, are you saying to eat a frozen banana with cinnamon on it before going to bed? Sorry just trying to get better sleep so I’m willing to try anything at this point

The water content in the pineapple 🍍 can also have u going to the bathroom in the night but it’s worth a try.

This couldn’t have come at a better time. I just bought a pineapple as it is one of my favorite fruits. N being an empath I am sleep deprived n exhausted. Thank you so much for this info.

@FaReal WitIt well an empath is someone who has the ability to feel others emotions n are very sensitive. Another term for an empath is an HSP. Highly Sensitive Person.
@FaReal WitIt We also are like a sponge n soak up others emotions sometimes to the point of becoming burnout, exhausted. I hope this answers your question for you.

Aloha Dr. Mandel, That’s funny, but I had one tiny sip of pineapple juice close to bedtime, and I couldn’t sleep until 2 am, from the natural sugar in the fruit. I’m very sensitive to many stimulants, so I limit fruit, chocolate, coffee… to breakfast time. I taught ‘Stretch & Tone’ classes many moons ago. At the end of each class, I’d say, “Make it a Great Day, & God Bless You!” Please pray for the people in Israel and Gaza. I hope we all know Yeshua, (Jesus) The Prince of Peace 🕊
