1 Oil Cures Toe Nail Fungus | Dr. Mandell

Oregano oil is a potent natural remedy that has been recognized for its ability to combat toenail fungus effectively. The key to its antifungal properties lies in its high concentration of carvacrol, a powerful compound known for its antimicrobial effects. When applied topically to the affected toenail, oregano oil works by penetrating the nail bed and targeting the fungus at its source. Carvacrol disrupts the cell membranes of the fungus, leading to its destruction and eventual elimination.

Furthermore, oregano oil has been shown to have broad-spectrum antifungal activity, making it effective against various types of fungi that can cause toenail infections. Its natural properties help inhibit the growth and spread of the fungus while promoting the healing of the affected nail. Oregano oil also has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that can help soothe the skin around the infected toenail and prevent secondary infections.

In addition to its direct antifungal action, oregano oil can also support the immune system's response to the fungal infection. By boosting the body's natural defenses, oregano oil helps strengthen the immune system's ability to fight off the fungus and prevent future infections. Overall, oregano oil is a safe and effective natural remedy for toenail fungus that can help destroy the fungus, promote healing, and restore the health of the affected toenail.

    • @tommycoyote3258 says:

Yuck. Put a tray with bleach in a tray in the shower. Dip your feet in the bleach and then shower. Bleach is what they use in gyms to keep down the athletes foot.

    • @abunchahooey says:

Ew… make him wear socks in the house. I sure wouldn’t allow him to fungus up your carpet. I don’t think Dr Mandell is a carpet cleaning expert, why would you ask him how to disinfect your carpet?

A woman once lost a couple of her toes because of that. Be careful. Try to bring your own supplies. I received a foot spa as a gift and I use it each time I need a pedi.

you might want to pass visiting your nail salon .

    • @nancysmith6685 says:

Not only did I get a fungus from the nail salon ,they just covered it up when I went back to have them filled in! I was getting sick from the infection and couldn’t figure out what was wrong until I decided I was too sick to go to the nail salon and started soaking off the fake nails. Having them put on in the first place was a very stupid thing to do. I had pink healthy nails but they were very soft and would peel off very easily. I had a bad habit of picking at them while sitting on the couch watching TV, also I had worked all my life and of course had to wear good shoes and socks. When I retired,I wanted to wear pretty sandals and have pretty nails. My doctor wouldn’t write the medicine for nail fungus because she said it was too expensive. I bought one brand of over the counter medicine and it didn’t do anything. Bought another brand and it eventually cleared it up, but only after losing the top half of both big toe nails. After about a year, they grew back in but there is still a line there to remind me of my stupid decision. Still can’t wear pretty sandals because of the years of standing on concrete made me have spider veins so bad that the top of my feet and ankles look like they are bruised.

Castor oil wraps, every night will do wonders. Thank you doctor!

    • @vicky116 says:

Seriously? If yes how long it takes?

    • @katjacat7161 says:

@vicky116  Castor is antibacterial. I applied for my grandmother, for a few months. Massaging her nails and then wrapping to keep the oil in place, and then the sock. They got much better after about nearly 3 months. Depends on how badly the nails have been already affected.

    • @vicky116 says:

@@katjacat7161 I heard it’s also caused by deficiencies. Is it true as well? So castor oil and any other suppliments required.

    • @debbiec6216 says:

      @@vicky116 That’s a good question , these days, nothing is surprising .
You might want to ask your doctor .

@@debbiec6216 The older a person is the more there are issues causing opportunistic infections to stick like fungi.
