In this video, I’m going to share 12 fat-burning tips that can help you burn fat quickly. When tapping into fat-burning, the goal is to leverage your actions to create the biggest effect on weight loss.
Here are my tips to help you burn fat fast!
1. Consume a moderate amount of high-quality animal protein.
Also, keep your carbs below 50 grams each day. Your body’s metabolic switch that allows you to tap into fat-burning is regulated by carb consumption.
2. Make your carbohydrates leafy greens.
You don’t have to worry about counting your carbs from vegetables. They also provide fiber, which is important for the health of your good microbes.
3. Don’t eat unless you’re hungry.
Don't get into the habit of eating according to the clock. Avoid eating just because everyone else is eating.
4. Try exercise snacks.
Take advantage of various opportunities during the day to get more exercise. Take breaks during computer work and go for a walk.
5. Avoid grains.
Avoid all grains, even those that are gluten-free. Consuming fiber with an inflamed gut feeds pathogens. Glutamine found in meat and cabbage helps heal the gut.
6. No junk food in the house.
Don't tempt yourself! If there’s junk food in the house, you’ll probably eat it.
7. Avoid locations where you will be tempted.
Restaurants and social events can be sources of temptation. Avoid these places if necessary.
8. Avoid dead food.
Food that has been ultra-processed and lasts forever is “dead”. This includes canned, boxed, and highly refined foods.
9. Try cold therapy.
Cold showers, cold immersions, and more outside time during the winter can increase fat-burning.
10. Try adaptogens to help reduce stress.
Adaptogens like ashwagandha, vitamin B1, and vitamin D can help to reduce stress levels to speed up fat-burning.
11. Avoid glyphosate.
Glyphosate acts as an antibiotic in the body and can negatively affect your microbes. Glyphosate is high in cereals, corn, soy, canola, wheat products, and foods that aren’t organic.
12. Consume apple cider vinegar.
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) helps support weight loss, stabilize blood sugar, and reduce insulin resistance.

Bravo!! Another Dr. Berg masterpiece!! Love it!!
00:13 🍖 Prioritize animal proteins in moderate amounts to support fat burning. Keep carbs under 50 grams to trigger metabolic switch to burn fat.
01:06 🔄 Focus on addressing insulin resistance, caused by factors like excessive carbs, frequent eating, stress, and inflammation. Opt for leafy greens as a carbohydrate source.
02:03 🚫 Don’t eat unless hungry to encourage the body to tap into fat stores. Avoid constant snacking and let your body ride the wave of reduced carb intake.
02:41 🏃♂ Incorporate “exercise snacks” throughout the day, taking short breaks for physical activity to reduce stress and aid in better sleep.
03:22 🌾 Eliminate all grains, not just gluten-free, as they can lead to inflammation, leaky gut, and even autoimmune issues. Prioritize glutamine-rich foods like meat and cabbage.
04:42 🛑 Keep junk food out of the house to avoid temptation and unnecessary snacking. Create a policy to maintain a healthy environment.
05:10 🚷 Avoid locations that tempt with junk food, such as restaurants or social events, to stay on track with your healthy eating habits.
05:39 🍱 Steer clear of dead, ultra-processed foods with no shelf life. Opt for fresh, whole foods for better health and weight management.
06:04 ❄ Try cold therapy to activate brown fat, burn calories, and boost metabolism. Cold showers, immersions, or spending time outdoors in the cold can be beneficial.
06:47 🌿 Consider adaptogens like ashwagandha, B1, and Vitamin D to reduce stress and support overall well-being.
07:14 🚫 Avoid glyphosate found in GMO foods, especially in cereals, corn, soy, canola, and non-organic products. Glyphosate can impact gut microbes, leading to inflammation and weight gain.
07:54 🍎 Incorporate apple cider vinegar to indirectly aid weight loss by improving blood sugars and addressing insulin resistance.
Excellent guide. Low carb and low sugar is the way to go…Thx Dr Berg!
On January 25, 2024, I weighed myself for the first time in about 4 years. I hadn’t noticed how much weight I’d gained. Since my college days I’ve weighed between 170-177 (six feet tall). On 1/25 I topped out at a disgusting 200 lbs!; the most I’ve ever weighed. Today is Jan 31 and I weighed 191 this morning. 9 lbs lost in 6 days. The weight loss is due to eating right and doing moderate exercise. My goal is to get back to 175, so there’s 16 pounds to lose. I’m determined to get there. Dr. Berg has good advice.
I THANK MY FRIEND that told me about you Dr. Berg. I follow all your Health & Food Advice 100%. I have always been small never fat but with unhealthy food bad habits. Since COVID-19 following you I am from 135lb to 110lbs. More ENERGETIC, WALK EVERYDAY, LIFTING WEIGHTS, YOGA & EXERCISE every week. MY SKIN LOOKS HEALTHY THAN EVER & MY BODY looks again like on my 20’s. Thanks God I have good genes like my mom & her mom. With pregnancy never did have any stretch marks, lose or saggy skin. Lucky me. Proud to be 59 on May. Reading your list I have been doing THE SAME. THANK YOU DR. BERG from the bottom of my heart. Keep us informed because by you we can continue to change our Lives, Body & Mind FOREVER in a Healthy Clean better way to live our lives.👌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👍🏻💪🏻
I lost thirty-five pounds in two months eating nothing but two bowls per day of beef stew. The stew cut out all sugary vegetables and replaced it with broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage, kale and stuff like that. It goes down easy cooked in Rotel and salsa. Mmm, mmm, good 😋
Thanks for all the great information very much appreciated 👏
“Eating your own fat” is such a great perspective on the feeling of hunger. I eat for pleasure way too often
I’m a type 1 diabetic who does 1 hour of pilates and 200 push-ups a day. I eat whipping cream, coffee, eggs, sausage and pepperettes. I take vitamin D, C, iodine, cordyceps, lions mane and the stamens 7. I usually eat once or twice a day and check my blood sugar every 2-3 hours. Blood sugar is highest in the morning and actually raises once I start working out. Breakfast is the least important meal of the day. Thanks Dr. Berg!!
❤ 💯 % on point Dr Berg! Thank you for this research list 🙏🏾
