  • F U says:

Sir, can you talk about a food that is healthy and doesn’t make one so sleepy please and thank you.

  • Bill Thibodeau says:

…and the best breakfast of all is No Breakfast!!:) Then again, breakfast means to break a fast, so if your first meal is at 1 or 2pm, then that is ‘break-fast.’ I just finished reading the Energy Paradox and have started incorporating some of the mono-meal suggestions over the last few days. What a game-changer Dr. G!! Really loved the book!!

  • RubberWilbur says:

But let’s not forget the number one thing to have for breakfast that will give you even more energy and maybe extend your life. Nothing. That’s what I consume or rather don’t consume.

  • Rowan Adler says:

Thanks Dr G. My kids and I also love your mug muffins with coconut yoghurt and blueberries, and sweet potato toast (twice cooked for extra resistant starch benefits of course 😉 with almond spread. We ❤ our breakfasts

  • Laly says:

What about Lavva yogurt? It’s made with Pili nuts, I saw your interview with the owner of this product and you mention that you like the yogurt the original one. Is Lavva yogurt Plant Paradox approved? It’s the only yogurt we were eating a lot It’s sooo good!

    • Gundry MD says:

Hi there! Thank you so much for your question. You can find Dr. Gundry’s list of approved foods here: https://bit.ly/353B0iF. Thank you!

    • Laly says:

@Gundry MD I know what foods are approved because I have his books, but I would like you to ask Dr. Gundry if he approves Lavva yogurt, like I mentioned before he said it is delicious , I don’t want to wait for another book to find out if he approves Lavva yogurt or not it’s that simple. Thanks

    • Gundry MD says:

Hello Gladys, yes Dr. Gundry approves of Lavva yogurt it is listed on his “Yes” list. Thank you!

  • Guido Brunelli jr. says:

Wow never heard of Almond butter ? We tried the coconut waffles in one of your books, I forget which at his point, but they were the most delicious and savory waffles I ever tried. Thanks !

  • Susie BrookoverHaase says:

Dr. G, since lectins are in the casing/skin of almonds, is it absolutely necessary that almond butter be made from blanched almonds that have had the skin removed?

  • claudia harris says:

I eat home made yoghurt with herbs like cumin in it as part of our culture. No sugar or refined sugar at all.
Breakfast is always millets porridge with veggies.
My grandfather used to eat eggs in breakfast daily. Till end of life he was active. Though not a heavy meat eater on daily basis but I always saw eggs for breakfast they were all omnivores on my mom side mostly. Never saw any problems. Till end of life my grandfather used to study, was active in his life.

  • Crystal says:

QUESTION: what about all the unhealthy added ingredients found in yogurt (not just sugar), as well as the fact that the animals who produce this milk contain a diet that includes grains?

  • Andi Bitri says:

Hi doctor. In a previous video you mentioned that the almond milk contains lectin because of the skin. How about almond butter? Is there any brand of a skinless almond butter you can recommend us? Thank you for all your information and your help.
