      When I was 14, I was told to repeat an exaggerated QX QX several times a day. I didn’t want to look like my grandmother! Now I am the grandmother & I didn’t repeat that exercise. 😢 Listen to Dr Mandell folks!

    I have an exercise for that. When you put a clean pillow case on your bed pillow, hold one end of it tightly under your chin. Then, with hands free, pull the clean cover up over the pillow. Should take about 30 seconds or less. If you have a large puffy pillow, cover 1/2 of the pillow, rest your neck a little, then do the other half.
    Another exercise is what I call the toothless smile. Pull both your lips over your upper & lower teeth at the same time, then smile. Do this about 10 times, no more than 2 reps per day. This works the face, chin AND neck muscles together. Put one hand on your neck while doing this & you will feel these muscles tighten & release but don’t do more than 10x, 2 reps.
    I’ve been doing these exercises for years, nearing 80 yrs and have NO flabby, saggy face, chin or neck muscles. Also, find a book for facial exercises if you want more. The rest of me is a continual work in progress.
