A CUP A DAY…CLEAR CLOGGED ARTERIES AND HEART – Dr Alan Mandell, DC

Clogged arteries result from the build-up of a substance called plaque in the arterial walls. It is also medically referred to as arterial plaque. This plaque can reduce blood flow or even block it altogether.
Clogged arteries increase your risk of developing other health complications like a heart attack or stroke.
Some of the most common risk factors for clogged arteries are:
High levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) or low levels of HDL (good cholesterol)
A high blood pressure
Smoking tobacco
Diabetes or elevated blood sugar levels
A family history of atherosclerosis or clogged arteries
Stress
Obesity
A sedentary lifestyle

Most cases of clogged arteries do not exhibit any symptoms until a heart attack or blood clot presents itself. However, in cases where 70% or more of the arteries are blocked, you will notice the following symptoms.
Severe cases of clogged arteries may exhibit symptoms like:
Shortness of breath
Sweating
Nausea
Chest pain or angina
Palpitations of the heart
Dizziness
Weakness

    Thanks for the info, Doctor. This explains some of the reasons why my mom used to give us a mixture of squeezed lemon juice and honey when we, myself and my two brothers, had a sore throat. The honey soothes the throat and the lemon juice provided the vitamin C for our immune system.

    Been drinking this mixture with cinnamon and ginger at least 5 times a week for more than two years, 16 oz water bottle full. Had gurd , heart burn, it’s not a problem anymore. Also lost 30 lbs, walking 3 to 5 miles a day, eating healthy. Feeling much better these days. I’ll be turning 61 in October

      G G .. Eat a can of Yoghurt everyday and you will have no problem at 60. Also two eggs a week, can do miracles.

      G G .. Greek yoghurt is good. Yoghurt has a lot of protein in it.
      Here we also have “kwark” or “cottage cheese”, wich is like very thick yoghurt, it has even more protein.
      But i prefer yoghurt.

      @David Meyer – I just made this recipe and portioned 50% of every ingredient and am doing fine. Plus I decided to drink half in the morning and the other half later in the day. BTW it is always safer to try less first IMO. A pinch of pepper means a pinch b/c I can tell the pepper works with tumeric and cyenne pepper slight burning sensation for a few minutes in stomach then disappears completely. I think it would be too much to go full recipe use trial and error. Are you taking this recipe as recommended in video? Is the “slight burning sensation” in stomach normal after drinking? Thanks. 🙂

    Sounds like a very good combination of artery cleansing ingredients, especially the tip about adding a pinch of Black Pepper to the Tumeric; because Black Peperon is known to cause the beneficial properties of Tumeric to absorb much greater in the blood stream. I can’t wait to try this out.

    I got my blood pressure checked earlier this week and it was high (147/94). Looks like the past two years of grad school and the stress, anxiety, and poor eating that came with it did a number on my health as my blood pressure just 2-3 years ago was below the 120/80 baseline. It’s time to take control again of my health, and make some hearty lifestyle changes to hopefully get this thing turned back around. I plan on incorporating this drink into my daily diet, along with garlic, whole grains, fish, low-fat dairy, a plethora of fruits and vegetables, and a weekly exercise routine. Will come back in a few weeks to a month to update ya’ll with what will hopefully be positive progress.

      @Jabba The Hutt I’m happy to report that my BP today was 115/66. 😀 It’s amazing how implementing some simple lifestyle changes can completely change the overall trajectory of your health. Oh, and I was still able to splurge once or twice a week with an unhealthy meal. 🙂 The key is moderation.

    Always mix powder ingredients with honey first then add your hot water there will be nothing settling in the water it’s all mixed in the honey and it is now fluid and you’re able to drink without dry ingredients floating. After you’ve added the water like I said add all the other ingredients that you need for mixture. Thank you. I really appreciate you Doc! I’ve learned a lot these last several if not more years.     I have been experiencing some tightness in my chest especially at bedtime so I got out of bed and tried this recipe and within a minute that tightness in my chest began to loosen up so I quit smoking, fast food, drinking and I mix this recipe up every morning on an empty stomach followed by a 30 minute brisk walk feeling a lot better!!!

    Been using this every day I feel more energetic and less tired I am 58 walk 10 km a day. I do have blocked arteries, one is blocked 60%, my cardio said you still ok.
