    Mental illness is mostly due to trauma of some sort. Most are in denial of their experiences. Saying it’s due to diet is just as dishonest as saying it’s due to chemical imbalance.

    Food industry should be held accountable like the tobacco industry was and was made to put warning labels on tobacco products. Consumers should be warned better and alerted about health consequences. Harmful effects from some foods may take longer to be noticed but general public may be taking great chance eating unhealthy foods (marketed as safe)

      If metabolic related bad health outcomes woke up tomorrow and were only doing as much damage to humanity as tobacco related bad health outcomes were doing at their peak (in the 1980s and 1990s in the USA)… people would go into shock. Imagine how free of intake the hospitals and doctor’s offices would be… imagine how fewer the prescriptions would be at the pharmacies……

      Oh… wait… fewer prescriptions at the pharmacies? We can’t have that! Profits > ALL 😥😥

    I hope this makes me not look at everything that I eat with fear and hatred. I never enjoy eating; and ppl who do usually disgust me idky . because I feel like it’ll kill me faster, especially here where they don’t care about you and invent a new pos food every day.

    Back in mid 1980’s when I was 26 I realized that SUGAR was making me feel depressed, anxious and sometimes even suicidal ! I started avoiding it and it was a 180 degree turn around! To this day I am off it ( although I do cheat during the Holidays a little haha)….and I FEEL awesome! Truly one of the worst things you can consume. I recently took it a step further in the last year or so and went Keto. It’s working great! Thx for this video, amazing info!

I’d love to hear you speak about oxalates in the foods because a lot of healthy foods you’re talking about are also high in oxalates like almonds, dark chocolate, some bean and pulses and expecially not good for metabolic issues where the kidneys are involved, thank you

    breast milk vs formula……. there is a situation going on that is forcing women to use formula and its NOT talked about! It happened to me! once you have the child a nurse comes in all nice and sweet and tries her dammed’st to push birth control! “you dont want to risk getting pregnant again this soon” and I fell for it the first 2 children! I was a low income mother who indeed did not want more children to fast and unplanned! well guess what happens the moment you take the birth control! Your Milk DRIES UP!!!!!!!!!! They Never warn you that might happen!

    Absolutely!!! We live in our bodies 24/7 and yet, my doctors never ask me what’s going on in my life diet or anything. When I share this information they dismiss the information and just try to prescribe pills instead. When I refused the prescription, they then just dismissed me!

      Prescriptions there is a lot of money to be made with this I think best to avoid most of it.Very sad and unacceptable when you see seniors especially how many pills they are prescribed good chance it makes their health worse.

    Very interesting podcast. I work in mental health and talk about food as medicine a lot. However in my experience with iron supplements that Iron supplements suck. You should be advocating for using cast iron pans for cooking.
