      I crack a egg in mine when it’s done and cover and let sit. Also throw in frozen veggies before I cook it.

      I put a egg in there, some chopped green onions, fresh basil and cilantro and some hot sauce. I have even added some chopped up grilled chicken or sausage and it’s great. I didn’t start eating ramen till I was in my mid 20’s.

    Oh this is a very important post! The chemical compounds in these, all MSG/sodium aside is like poison. I ended up in the ER after eating this in my 20s for Tachycardia thinking I was having a heart attack. My BPM was around 150, it was very scary. That was the last time I ever ate these no matter how “organic” the claims. Please dont eat these! Thank you Dr. Mandell. Stay well

    Honestly, I ate so many of those instant noodles in my college days.I lost track of the amount. I never checked the ingredients. I was just looking at the price.It was all about saving money. I don’t eat them anymore because I know better. Thank you for sharing.

    Coming from a Chinese dad and a French mom, it is pretty easy to make your own. Make your own chicken broth after boiling bones of a roast chicken from any grocery store. Add a small piece of ginger, low sodium soy sauce and a little sesame oil. Put noodles in boiling broth until “Al Dente”
    (To the tooth) bite. Top with chicken and green onions

    I make my own noodles for my kids. I used less of the condiments, olive oil, and dried herbs.
