  • Kamila Agi-Mejias says:

Our senior center is run by a woman like this. She’s disrespectful to me and many others while I see her kissing other’s butts. It’s frustrating to deal with her demeaning manner.

    • Nacho Dog says:

I believe its her own insecurities putting everybody below her. She’s trying to convince herself she’s above you when shes not.
I pity people like that, rather than get mad.
It helps me deal with people like that. Its sad…

    • Kamila Agi-Mejias says:

@Nacho Dog I agree, but it’s hard to put up with it. All the seniors in our ceramics group are retired professionals with an artistic passion. She is just rude and disrespectful, like a cliche movie character. Do you have any words of advice whether we should say something? I’m nervous she’s cancel the group out of vengeance..

    • Nacho Dog says:

@Kamila Agi-Mejias Maybe a few of you get together and talk it over. They know better about the situation than I … and then…..
Talk to the Director of the Senior Center to talk it over with The teacher about her demeanor and how displeased many are with her. Not to mention your names of those in the class. Put it on the Director’s shoulders. What a shame.
I took a private art class in my 20s
The teacher was a real stinker. She made it hard for me. People told me she was jealous of me. After crying to myself in class I finally quit after the term was up. I tried to suck it up I continued but she made it hard for me because I worked all day and after work I went to class and being tired and challenged by learning something new she took my joy away. So I get what you’re going through.
It seems there is always a villain in every situation. Wishing you all the best. Pray on it as well. Jesus pulls me through every time.🙏♥️

@Kamila Agi-Mejiassee if you would be allowed to bring in essential oils diffuser and by the orange oil from Young Living because it is all about helping with depression. The limbic system controls moods and feelings in the body so whenever you breed a real. The limbic system controls moods and feelings in the body so whenever you breathe a real smell from plants or fruits, it will change the feelings and moods of the people in the room. It’s fascinating to watch how people become happy and don’t even know why❤

  • Trudy Eastland says:

  • Diana Avila says:

    Great reminder Dr M!
When people talk down to you remember they are speaking from their insecurities, low self esteem and they probably had someone in their life that did that to them. Pray for them and let their words fall off you like water off a ducks back. Be an encourager.

    • Mallard the Duck says:

It is a wonderful thing when people see their error and begin to step back, look at themselves and begin to make Positive changes. May God Bless You!

  • Mary Anna says:

My Mom was wise, she would tell me, “Consider the source!” Also, I have heard this- “Hurting people, hurt people!”

    • Mary Anna says:

Another thing she would say is, “Pretty is as pretty does!” A woman may be beautiful on the outside, but how does she behave toward others? If she is mean and hateful, she loses her beauty!

    • Mallard the Duck says:

I consider myself a hurting person and a wounded soul, however, that is not what I want to do to other’s….rather have a kind word, or word of encouragement 😁👍

    • Julie McDaniel says:

I hear that phrase all the time “hurting ppl hurt ppl”, but after a while it becomes annoying to hear that. That maybe true for a lil while but eventually hurting ppl need 2 get it 2gether & grow up too. They are NOT the only 1’s on the planet that’s hurting & overtime that becomes a cop out for them 2 keep using as an excuse to stay that way js.

  • Cheryl Cronce says:

Thank you Dr Mandell truer words were never spoken! You’re the absolute best ❤

  • Julie McDaniel says:

Someone who talks down 2 you or down about you, it’s impt 2 remember you are like a sturdy umbrella🌂 capable of shielding urself from their verbal downpour. THANK YOU DR. MANDEL 4 UR BEAUTIFUL WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

  • David Morgan says:

Just what I needed today after some spiteful words from a so called friend Thanks Dr M. ❤

  • Mallard the Duck says:

I am by no means perfect, however, I make it my Life’s goal not to “talk down” on other people, but constantly examine myself. I try to be an encouragement, a man of Peace with kind words. I just walk away from drama. Those are Good Words of Wisdom Dr. Mandell…God Bless You Sir!!!

  • Magdalena Erasmus says:

Precious, this is absolutely a better world with U in it
