Always good when your notis pop up!!!

  • @kindred1113 says:

I am reading your book Young Forever and I love it. I think what it is happening that many Drs are coming up with different ways to eat and WHAT that is doing is getting us confused. I have followed you for a long time and believe on your advice and your way of eating. Thanks for been a caring human being besides a great Dr. I wish there were more like you…..blessings……MINDY

  • @niloohassas2918 says:

Thank you Dr. Hyman. Wish more doctors cared and treated patients like you.

  • @carolerogers5944 says:

What about Sourdough bread that’s made at home with a starter that has good bacteria in?

    • @kidvision564 says:

After one “expert” trashed bread, all the rest followed trashing bread – regardless of type. A few experts in the best cade scenario say “i am not saying bread is a healthy food” but….

    • @janedough6575 says:

If you’re using good quality organic or unbleached flour and other healthy ingredients there’s nothing wrong with it if you don’t have gluten intolerance or diabetes.

  • @KJSvitko says:

Processed food manufacturers need to hear from consumers that less added sugar, oil and salt is wanted in their food products.
Why is there so much sugar in everything, even bread. That’s just crazy
Email, text, tweet or phone your favorite producer of poison and let them know consumers want less salt, oils and sugars in their products.
Let their customer service department know that all the extra added salt, oil and sugar is not necessary or desired and is causing health issues.

  • @parisconstantinou8299 says:

thank you very much for everything Dr Hyman!!!

  • @carolineeccel5387 says:

Dump the food pyramid. No one size fits all. Discover what’s right for you. Your body will let you know. Check out what others are saying, don’t take everything at face value. Do your due diligence. 😊

  • @kervinthomas4859 says:

I want to know why are food companies allowed to put harmful oils, preservatives, colors in our food? I don’t want lab made beef, and chicken. I don’t want GMO!!!

    • @chrissiecasson700 says:

I don’t want to eat any meat at all, you really don’t need it.

    • @goolash9991 says:

@@chrissiecasson700 I honestly felt the same way 15 years ago; I was vegetarian for 3 years. I felt really good until I developed anemia. I actually passed out with my baby in my arms. I realized I needed meat. Now I eat all of God’s foods and no man made garbage foods, including sugar. I wish you well.

Love Dr. Hyman, not crazy about the word ‘hacks’, prefer ‘techniques’, but here are the five techniques to slow aging described in the video. Please consider watching the entire video for more detail.

    1. Food – food as medicine, eat organic, eat high quality whole foods, don’t eat ultra-processed foods
    2. Sleep – quiet serene environment, low lighting if any, same time every day, turn off tech
    3. Exercise – incorporate all kinds, steady-state aerobics, HIIT, strength training, flexibility, balance
    4. Community – sense of purpose, help others, shared vision of health, practice kindness, get connected
    5. Mind – find your passion, focus on your joy, do things that make you happy, be nice to yourself

Enjoy listening to you. My Mother lived to be 101 years old and her sister almost 100. They were always making thinks for charity. Knitting, crocheting, embroidery, baking cookies for family members and singing Psalms kept them content and happy. I don’t know what I would do if I did not have them for an example. I am now 84 and make scarves and caps for St Joseph Indian School in SD.

  • @user-tm1ec2on6w says:

I start my day with two hours of weeding at the crack of dawn. I have a Mockingbird buddy that perches in a tree nearby and sings to me. By the time I go in to make coffee, I’m so full of joy, thankfulness and an overall positive mental state, that I’m energized for the rest of the day. BTW, I’m an Organic produce farmer which has its own set of life-engendering qualities.

    • @inca3370 says:

Sounds great. I’ve learned that organic isn’t just about pesticides, but that as the plants have to fight harder to survive without pesticides, they produce lots more polyphenols and nutrients in the process.

    • @user-tm1ec2on6w says:

@@inca3370 At the foundational level, it’s about producing super rich soils through earthworm cultivation. What they do with soil is nothing short of magic. Everything after that is a cascade of life engendering protocols. I truly believe that without healthy soils, we cannot be healthy.

    • @janedough6575 says:

I read quickly and thought you started your day with weed and crack 😂
