Compliance is the major factor here. There is no amount of evidence that will convince my parents/step-parents/in-laws to start eating from the How Not to Die cookbook.

    • @channel23753 says:

Same here. I have a relative who just recently had cancer surgery, and he STILL insists on eating what he wants. It’s frustrating.

  • @ellenled says:

In terms of elongated telomeres being anti aging….new studies show that elongated telomeres May lead to cancer since the cells are so long lived and mutate over and over. Can anyone address this? Can this be suggested to Dr. G to address?

  • @aldimore says:

    YES

This is great news! Here in Finland – the Dairy Land – we have a high mortality rate of Alzheimer’s disease. All our deceased presidents since 1960’s have died on Alzheimer’s. But for government nothing is as important as keepin’ on consuming dairy, eggs and flesh…

So, at 2:47, what’s the rest of the sentence?–This is probably due to a diet that is low in animal fat and high in saturated…..

Fantastic! I heard that Dr. Ornish was doing this study late last year and was very hopeful. Despite there being some problems with the study (compliance, placebo, etc.) the results look very promising for people who take it all the way on good lifestyle habits! Hopefully we start seeing more studies like this sprout up.

  • @PlantChompers says:

I talked to Dr. Ornish about this study months ago and HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO WAIT for it to be published! 🎉 Great video. 👏
