    Thanks for the information Dr. I recently started drinking green tea but drank it during my dinner meal. I’ll now drink it as you indicated either first thing in the morning or an hour or two before retiring for the night.

    Good info! Another benefit of drinking green tea is to use the tea bag to apply it to your face and neck. If done daily as part of your routine it helps smooth your skin and repairs sun damage.

    In my early 20s I stopped drinking alcohol and wanted to lose weight. I drank a gallon of green tea a day. I’d mix plain and flavored ones (orange passion fruit was my favorite) brew it then chill it in a pitcher and drink all day. No sugar or anything and just ate like a sensible diet nothing crazy. I think I just cut down on sugar and bad carbs. I lost like 15lbs.
