Good advice, Dr.: thanks. I had excruciating, recurring nighttime leg cramps for 30+ years, until finally figuring out that I was losing too many electrolytes by sweating. Magnesium is one of the electrolytes that I regularly supplement, now. Leg cramps are now less frequent.

Staying with my elder in-law to keep him out of the rest home. Heart patient with CHF and a pacemaker. Why they didn’t have him taking magnesium, I’ll never l know! Got him taking my mag glycinate because of leg cramps. They have him on 3 bp/diuretics! He gets leg cramps, has zero kidney issues. Asked the cardiologist about magnesium, he said “you have to be careful because it can cause kidney failure” ????? Whaaaaatttt??? But he didn’t tell him to stop taking it! He just dismissed it casually! I think they really DONT KNOW what to recommend unless fpisser makes it! (And unless they get a bonus for prescribing it!😡)

Amen and true and sad to the point

    • @Thinkerton997 says:

Don’t forget that potassium also helps with muscle cramps. They only sell it at 99 mg. Our bodies need a lot more. I’m pretty sure Dr. Mandel made a video of this.

  • @sharonlee1985 says:

Thank you, Doctor! Again, your video arrived in perfect timing as a reminder for me, the importance of Magnesium glycerinate -at least 400 mg for managing anxiety, regulating elevated blood pressure, and sleep.
I do recall from your previous videos your recommendations to take it and Omega-3 at night/right before bed.
    You are magnificent, Doctor!
Yes, you make a difference in our lives‼️

Dr. Mandell is spot on with this video. I’m speaking from first-hand knowledge on this topic because adding a quality magnesium supplement to my diet was a game changer. Not all magnesium supplements are the same so you have to Google the topic and learn about magnesium supplements to be able to make a smart choice to get the best magnesium supplement for your money.
