    Also good advice when purchasing / growing your food.
    Veggies 1st – Protein 2nd – Carbs last.

      Veggies are carbs. And not all created equal. Sweet potato – carbs. Corn – carbs. Carrots – carbs; all quite high on the Glycemic Index.
      While there’s some truth to what he’s saying, it’s far more nuanced.
      Nothing slows down absorption and prevents blood sugar spikes like fat.
