I’d love to have 1tbls of peanut butter every day, but sadly I can’t control myself and I’ll end up having 5 or 6 tbls.

Thsts good news. I love peanut butter.
I have one teaspoon daily. 1 tablespoon looks like its to much. I just found out I’m prediabetic. Trying to find out what I can and can’t eat. Nice to know I can increase my peanut butter.

I eat one tablespoon of natural/sugar free peanut butter mixed with chopped whole apple, a few crushed pecans, 2-3 tablespoons hemp hearts, teaspoon of cinnamon, a little stevia/erythritol and Himalayan sea salt for breakfast often. It’s delicious and I’m satiated for hours. 👍🏽

    • @nayjavu says:

I eat peanut butter and apples daily and aint no way 1 tablespoon covers a whole apple lol

    • @Shekinah7 says:

@@nayjavu I can spread 1 tbsp on most apple pieces. I tried two this morning now that I see it’s healthier than I thought.😊👍🏽

Thank Doc! ❤ IMHO peanut butter should be listed as superfood! Every time I eat a spoonful I think of George Washington Carver’s contribution to it’s creation.

  • @dougs4given says:

Just like Doc said, only have a few tablespoons, and make sure, make sure, make sure it’s all natural, that it does not have palm oil and sugar. Do not overdo it because it is high in omega6 and you mess up your Omega3 -omega;6 ratio

  • @madlynehall429 says:

Thanks for sharing, I try to eat at least 2tbl spoon of peanut butter with a apple each morning, so good.

  • @blackworldtraveler3711 says:

Interesting that you talk about peanut butter.
I ate it all the time as a kid.
Once in my 20s I hated it for years.
Now in my 50s all of a sudden I like it again and been consuming organic peanut butter almost daily with one or two spoonfuls or as a dip for my 72% Swiss chocolate snack the past few months.

    I don’t eat peanuts though.
I’m more into raw cashews and pecans.

  • @kellyhiggins1691 says:

  • @pg618 says:

When I have a sweet tooth I go for peanut butter with honey, cacao powder, cinnamon and ground flaxseed. Tastes great and good for you. What does anybody think of that?

  • @dlfaith says:

It’s interesting that you say all this because my 87-year-old aunt has been eating peanut butter with her carrots dips in her peanut butter every day for 20 something years😊
